Constructive Alps
Constructive Alps Switzerland launched on 8 January 2013 the architecture prize "Constructive Alps". The LCT One demonstration building of the project CEC5 was among the best 10 buildings.
The prize was addressed to project supervisors/architects and private house owners as well as to renovation and construction projects for industry, leisure, services, communication, and municipality buildings.
Out of almost 400 projects from 7 countries, three architects and contracting authorities were selected for their outstanding projects.
On 29 August 2013, the prize of 50.000 Euros was awarded by the Federal Office for Spatial Development ARE in cooperation with the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and with the support of the University of Liechtenstein and CIPRA (the International Commission for the Protection of the Alps).
The LCT One demonstration building of the project CEC5 was among the best 10 buildings and received an recognition award. In a special exhibition all awarded buildings were shown in the Alpine Museum Bern. In connection with the award this exhibition will then tour through the alpine space countries.
